Carmen loves working with diverse people and communities, projects, and sectors. She brings an empathetic lens to her work. “I’m in a privileged position to hear people’s stories and bring their voices to government agencies and decision-makers.” Carmen has a Master’s degree in psychology from Victoria University of Wellington | Te Herenga Waka.
Carmen is Chinese, a second-generation migrant from Guangzhou, China, and grew up in Tāmaki Makaurau. When not working, Carmen loves hiking and rock climbing.
