Senior Māori Researcher and Evaluator
Maria is an experienced independent Kaupapa Māori research and evaluation practitioner. She has worked with Litmus over the last nine years on research and evaluations in the health, justice, education and primary industries sectors. Maria is passionate about mahi that works to improve outcomes for whānau, hapū, iwi, Māori and Pasifika communities.
Maria has a strong rights-based advocacy focus having managed an advocacy organisation under the Office of the Health and Disability Commissioner for 10 years. This experience enables a strong consumer lens and perspective across evaluations and projects. Maria is a skilled facilitator and trainer.
Maria has a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Auckland.
